*GMP Seats: 50% of the above 40% or 45% seats are for the candidates of the state Karnataka. (*referred as GMP seats / GMP with Hyderabad – Karnataka seats in the colleges present in Hyderabad – Karnataka region).
OPEN Seats: The rest of the seats, that is 50% of the above or 40% or 45% seats (as the case may be) are for the “OPEN” quota seats. The Open Quota seats get filled on the basis of the NEET UG All India merit position. In this merit list, only Indian citizens are eligible.
In KRLMPCA and AMPCK Colleges – Here, 55% seats are reserved as the private quota seats.
a) 66% of these seats gets filled by the corresponding religious or linguistic minority candidates. (It includes – MK, MA, ME, MU, MC, MM seats).
b) 34% of the above seats include the following –
*GMP: 50% of the above and 34% seats are allotted for Karnataka candidates (GMP seats).
OPEN: 50% of the above and 34% seats are reserved for Indian candidates with Indian citizenships.
*Karnataka Candidates eligible for the Government medical college seats fall in the following category, barring the GMP seats.
1. NRI SEATS
15% of the total seats are allotted for NRI quota in the KPCF, KRLMPCA and AMPCK Colleges.
2. OTHER SEATS
5% of the total seats are allotted for other candidates and quota in KPCF, KRLMPCA & AMPCK Colleges.
